Amaretto is a sweet but shy boy who likes to take life at his own gentle pace. When you first meet this handsome boy, he may keep his distance while he works out if he is safe. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side will start to shine through. Amaretto likes interactive play and just a little bit of fuss on his own terms. He is not an overly affectionate cat and doesn’t enjoy being mauled with love. He is content being near people just sharing space and enjoying quiet companionship. He may not be a lap cat right now, but who knows what the future holds. For now, he is happiest with a bit of safe distance and no pressure.

He is chatty with other cats and can sometimes be found hard at work in the kitty bakery, lovingly making biscuits. Amaretto will suit a calm, quiet home with people who have no expectations and will let him just be. In return, you will get a companion who you have helped to feel safe and happy. Amaretto is looking for a home where can explore outside once he is ready, an indoor only home would not suit him. As he is only young, a home in a quiet area with little traffic will be essential for him to roam safely.
