Beautiful blue eyes, gorgeous white fur and the gentlest of souls. Meet our wonderful Barney. This handsome chap came into us through no fault of his own, his owners were moving house and couldn’t take him with them unfortunately. Barney was a shy little boy when he arrived, burying his head into our arms as we got him settled and hiding away from everything that was new and scary. Over the last few weeks, he has warmed up a little and has started to venture out of his cosy igloo bed. He loves a gentle head stroke and adores chin and neck scratches. He likes them so much he will roll around and push his head further into your hands for more fuss. He really is the sweetest little cat and we are all head over heels in love him already!

Barney likes to explore outside, so will need regular and unlimited access for his outside adventures via a cat flap. As he is white all over, you will need to be on top of not letting him get sunburnt, so pet friendly sunscreen is a must in the summer. Those pink bits like the nose, ear tips etc get scorched very easily and can lead to health complications, just like in us humans.

Barney is looking for a nice peaceful home where his new pawrents have no expectations of him, they will need to let him come out of his shell in his own time. This beautiful boy will benefit from his own space at the beginning, plenty of hiding places, cosy dens and igloo beds and the most important thing, a patient owner with a heart as big as his. Barney does not have a bad bone in his body and once he trusts you, he will show you he loves you as much as you love him.
