We are pleased to introduce our gorgeous girl, Breakaway. Breakaway is a beautiful cat with a soft presence and brave heart. She has been through some tough times, but she prefers not to dwell on the past. What matters to her is that she is safe now and she is ready to start her new life.

Breakaway would thrive in a calm, quiet home with someone that has lived with cats as an adult and understands feline body language. She will need the freedom to settle in at her own pace, with plenty of patience and respect for her boundaries. She really is a lovely girl who enjoys a little affection once she has gotten to know you and you have helped her to feel safe. If Breakaway is startled, she may swipe, but it is never out of malice, only fear. All this gorgeous girl asks for is the chance to be herself with owners who will grow to adore her.

It is important to remember that rescue animals are not here to meet human expectations. All rescues simply need a chance to be accepted as they are in the right home.
