Hello friends, thankyou very much for clicking on my profile! Let me tell you a little bit about myself, prior to arriving at Gables I was roaming the streets struggling through each day. I was very timid and it took the humans a couple of years to get close enough to get me help. Once I arrived here I was very shut down and spent all my time hidden away, as I did not trust anyone. As time went by, I decided the orange humans weren’t that bad after all, as they supplied me with food regularly. Food is the way to my heart! Once I got to know the friends that look after me, I have learnt to enjoy affection and will give head rubs. I particularity like my back being scratched gently. I am not brave enough to be picked up yet or sit on your lap, but in time, once I get to know my new pawrents, I may sit on your lap.

I am looking for a quiet indoor only home due to my tummy troubles, I have to be careful with my diet. The people here have been so patient with trying to figure out what is going on with me. It is likely that I have IBD (infammatory bowel disease) so I eat special sensitivity food to help support my tummy and overall health. I do take some medication as well, but let me tell you this…I do not enjoy taking it, in fact I will spit them out in protest and use my claws! They have to be hidden in my food as it is less stressful for me. They are sneaky these humans, sneaky but lovely.

Because I am such a special boy, I am looking for somebody that has owned cats before and it would be advantageous if you have given (or hidden) medications to cats previously. So you have to be smarter than me. If I am feeling a little under the weather, I won’t eat which means I won’t take my medication. But more than anything, I need someone to show this lonely and scared stray what love means. I need time, I need patience, I need someone who is smarter than me (or thinks they are) and I need no expectations of me. Please enquire about me. I know that in the right hands, I could be that friendly and affectionate chap that is just waiting to build a lifelong bond with you. I am already making positive steps and learning that not all humans are that scary.
