Please give me a moment, as my whole world has been turned upside down! Sadly, I have found myself here at Gables as my owner passed away. That is a lot for a cat to process and I am still getting used to this massive change in my life.

Right now, I am taking slow paw steps at a time, hiding to decompress and taking moments for myself. The nice staff here understand, they do not push me or have any expectations for me, this has helped me trust them and I have started enjoying some head scratches and fuss from my new friends. I am a good boy, a sweet boy and I just need to find someone who will understand that rescue animals don’t just slot into someone’s life, they need to be invited in, they need to be allowed time to adjust. And with time, I will be able to be my true self with those closest to me, could that be you?

I have always been kept indoors, so do not have any sense of traffic. Because of this, I need to find a home in a quiet area to keep me safe when I finally venture outside for the first time. I would like to find a quite home so that I can build my trust and learn to love again.
