Disaronno is a very sensitive and gentle boy who is finding the world a little overwhelming right now. He is quite a nervy little chap and prefers to keep himself tucked safely away in his beloved cardboard box. He likes to watch from a distance where he feels secure. Fear guides him more than curiosity does at the moment, but underneath it all, he is a little darling with a lot of love to give when he is ready.

This gorgeous boy will allow very slow and gentle strokes on his head before moving calmly away. It is endearing to see the sweet boy he is trying to be. He is not defensive or aggressive, he is just cautious and still learning that humans can be trusted.

Like the liqueur he is named after, Dissarono is an acquired taste, not bold, not loud and not for everyone. But we know his human is out there. He needs someone that is patient, gentle and knows the effort they put in will be worth it if they are willing to go slow. He has a long way to go on his journey and  will need a quiet and understanding home with someone who has no expectations. Where he can hide, decompress and come forward in his own time. He will need a safe location to be rehomed to enable him to explore with minimum risk to traffic.
