Disaronno is a very sensitive and gentle boy who found the move to Gables a little overwhelming. He was quite a nervy little chap to start with and preferred to keep himself tucked safely away in his beloved cardboard box until he adjusted to life in our cattery. He will watch from a distance where he feels secure until he knows that he is safe enough to shine. Although fear may guide him more than curiosity does to start with, underneath it all, he is a little darling with a lot of love to give his forever family.

Once settled, Dissarono will open up to those he trusts and loves a fuss and pet. Particularly those good spots around the neck and ears. When he is feeling really good, he will roll around and push his head into your hand for more, his paws on constant biscuit making duty!

Like the liqueur he is named after, Dissarono is an acquired taste, not bold, not loud and not for everyone. He needs someone that is patient, gentle and knows the effort they put in will be well worth it if they are willing to go slow initially. The bond that can be made with this boy, is like no other. He can be a true companion, friend and soul mate. He will need a safe location to be rehomed to enable him to explore with minimum risk to traffic.
