I am as handsome as a lion but as soft as a kitten. I am such a little sweetheart and have the most adorable chubby cheeks. I had been straying for quite a while and that is how I have contracted the Herpes virus. It is highly contagious to other cats which is why I must be rehomed as a single indoor cat only. I love my food so this will help us bond, but you must be mindful of me putting on weight as I won’t be as active as other cats who go outside.
I am looking to be adopted by someone who has owned cats before so they can keep an extra eye on me. Herpes symptoms can flare up if I am feeling a little run down or stressed. I could get runny eyes or a runny nose, could be sneezing lots or sound a bit wheezy for example. Our immune system becomes a little compromised. Don’t let this put you off adopting me though, cats with Herpes can live very normal lives with a normal lifespan. You just need to keep up to date with my yearly vaccinations as you would any other cat and spot a flare up if I have one. Stress can bring on symptoms, so a calm environment will be ideal for me to live a life of peaceful luxury in.
I have an amazing personality and deserve to live my best life now, I don’t want to see another cold winter on the streets or have another empty belly. If you are looking for a friendly little buddy to snuggle up to, please apply for me. I am just the best boy and want a chance to be happy.
