Are you an experienced cat owner who lives in a quiet home with a lot of patience? If so, please read on! My good friend Marv and I are very reserved at the moment, well maybe ‘not very amenable‘ is the right description. Especially Marv, as he will run and hide when he sees people coming. I am shy too, but I am getting brave when there is some food around and will very gingerly step forward for a few yummy dreamies. Marv is not as this stage yet and he does look to me for a bit of encouragement. But that’s what best friends are for right? We help support each other when we are frightened or unsure of something. Along with a lot of patience, food will also be the way to our hearts. We are not aggressive in the slightest, just scared at the moment so will need to be left to our own devices whilst we settle. We had been straying for about a year before we were brought into Gables. The adjustment and change of environment for cats is always hard, so when we go to our new home, we will really thrive on routine as this will help us to feel more safe. It may take a while for us to start trusting you, so don’t expect miracles straight away. If you think you could offer us the home we deserve together, please complete an application form for us.
Patience is not just the ability to wait, it is how you behave whilst you are waiting
