Are you just here for the meows and Merlot? If yes, please carry on reading! Our lovely but shy boy Merlot is a gorgeous little man who has had a troubled life so far. He was brought to us from a home with over 100 cats in and was constantly competing to feel safe. Merlot does not have a bad bone in his body and would rather curl up in a ball or remove himself than hiss at you if he is feeling scared or overwhelmed. He loves the comfort of his big round doughnut bed and finds solace in here when the world is getting a little too loud. Once he has sussed you out, he will be brave and approach for some well deserved fuss. He is not loud or demanding and he prefers a peaceful environment where he can relax and feel secure. A quieter household with minimal visitors or chaos would suit him best. With patience and consistency, his confidence should continue to grow. As Merlot has not been outside before, he will need a safe location to help keep him safe, he is not looking for an indoor home.
If you think you could Merlot the steady, quiet home he needs, please submit an application. He will look forward to reviewing it (with a little help of course).
Like a good Merlot, our Merlot will need a little time to breathe, but once he settles, he is smooth, comforting and very easy to love
