Yes - I am suitable to live with children 10 years and above but no more than 1 child please in the home. This includes visiting children.

Aloof! That is a word I would use to describe myself. I am at Gables through no fault of my own, my previous owners were moving country and it would have been too stressful for me to go on the long journey with them on an aeroplane. I am a sweet older lady but am not overly fussed with being a lap cat at the moment, but I have the potential once we are friends. I am happy to curl up in my igloo bed all snug as well as receiving some affection if I am awake. If I am feeling uncomfortable around new people, I will give a little bit of a low growl and a mini hiss but I am not really a grumpy lady at heart. Once we are establishing a bond, I really am partial to some lovely stroking, especially around my chin and ears. I like being brushed but not too keen on being picked up, so please keep my little tootsies on the floor.

I am looking for a nice quiet home to settle into. I have written a list of the things I would like in my new abode:

• An igloo bed that I can have all to myself
• Children are acceptable but they must be calm, I am an older lady so don’t appreciate them too little
• Treats! Treats are a must and I politely ask that you do not let my stock run low
• All guests must be approved by me first
• You must be ok with me owning you, it will never be the other way round
