My name means that I am strong and dignified and strong and dignified I am! I am a beautiful boy with dashing good looks and gorgeous silky long fur. I came into Gables because I was not coping well with the 7 other cats in the home. This amount of cats in my safe space caused me great stress which then caused me to have urine infections and accidents within the home. I was very unhappy. Due to my history in the previous home, I am now looking to be the only cat in my new house and for my new owners to keep me on my special urinary diet. This food gives my plumbing system a bit of extra support, it helps prevent crystals and infections from forming and helps to maintain a healthy PH balance. In a nutshell, it just helps everything flow normally and supports my bladder and urinary system. It is important to keep me on this for the foreseeable future. Since arriving at Gables, I have not had one accident or urinary problem. This will be because I am in a much calmer environment and I am not sharing my space and things with other cats. So there is no competition and I am now eating the right food to keep me happy and healthy. I am so pleased that I am making steps in the right direction as urine infections are not fun.

I am looking for my new people to have owned cats before as I am not suitable for a first time owner. You don’t necessarily have to owned a cat with plumbing issues before, but you must have an understanding of my previous issues and the importance of care I need going forward. Sometimes urinary issues can flare up again if a cat is feeling stressed or overwhelmed. This can happen when settling into a new home for example. So although I am doing great at the moment, there is the possibility that I could have an accident or UTI again in the future.

Enough about my water works, let us talk about me and what a wonderful boy I am! I can be a little stand offish if we have not met before, but I will soon warm up to you and relax. I really enjoy being stroked, it just feels so nice. I have a really lovely temperament and will make someone a wonderful companion. I am not necessarily a lap cat but I will tolerate your knees for about 30 seconds before I jump off. My new home will need to be quiet with minimal visitors as I cannot have a repeat of my past. I am really looking forward to some well deserved one on one attention, I think I could thrive in the right environment and with the right people who understand me. I will need my gorgeous locks brushed daily to stop any knots forming, but other than that, I don’t ask for a lot! Just a home to call my own now please.

If you have what it takes to offer a special rescue boy like me a home, please complete an application form for me. The lovely rehoming team will be in touch if they think we are a match made in heaven.

“I’ve got a lot of felines for you”
