Aye up, alright mates?
Picadilly and Paddington here.
We won’t lie to you, people are not quite our cuppa tea (or should we say ‘Rosie Lee’ ) right now. We’re not being funny, it’s just we don’t know you from Adam! Our walls are up and we are scared, it has been one long journey coming here, we tell ya. But don’t scroll past us just yet, because we have so much potential in the right home.
We are looking for a quiet, experienced gaff, with no faff, no expectations, just people who understand that the rehoming process is not always easy peasy. We won’t jump straight onto your lap like it’s all hunky dory. We need people who will honour our boundaries, give us space and read our body language to keep things respectful. We may not be up for a chin wag straight away, but in time, with the right family, we may well learn that people are not so bad. Wouldn’t that be grand? As we are only little, we are looking for a quiet location to call home. Somewhere we can trundle to our heart’s content but safely, that would be class! Of course we will also need lots of comfy beds, toys to keep these young paws entertained, and plenty of nosh.
If we could find our perfect people, we would be chuffed. The value of adopting is not in instant cuddles, but in slowly gaining trust, and loving everyone in their own unique way. If you want to truly rescue, consider applying for us.
Cheers 🐾
