Goodness me, this is all very new. I am a little shy at the moment so please bear with me but I am a sweet boy once the ice starts to thaw a little. I have found the big change of coming in to the cattery a little daunting, but I am making small, brave steps every day. Instead of hiding in my igloo bed now, I am venturing outside to sit in an an open bed to gaze at the beautiful blue sky and all the birds in it. I love my treats so these really help me build trust with people. Just before I arrived at Gables, I found shelter and solace in someone’s garden. I did not see eye to eye with this person’s cats and due to my nervous nature I am looking for a home without other cats or any dogs. I am looking for my owner to have owned cats before, someone who will allow me the time and space I will need while I am adjusting to my new home. It means that they can read my body language and know when I am uncomfortable and when I am relaxed. A quiet, loving and calm home is what I am after and this will help me flourish. I really do have bags of potential in the right home. I may have never been in a home environment before, I will need to be introduced into my new home very gradually because I am so timid and too much too soon will stop me from opening up to my new family. If you are looking for a sweet companion that you would like to truly help and offer a loving home to, please apply for me.
Some people never adopt a black cat because they think black cats bring bad luck. The only bad luck is missing out on the blessing of having a black cat
