Hi, I’m Buttercup 🐾
I’m a bright, bouncy Terrier cross with a big personality and an even bigger love for people. I’ve got lots of energy and I like to keep busy, so don’t expect me to sit still for too long when there’s life happening around me!I absolutely adore attention and I’m never shy about asking for it. Belly rubs are one of my favourite things in the world, and I’ll happily roll over to make sure you don’t forget. I’m fast, agile and always ready to jump into whatever’s going on… sometimes quite literally, as I do like getting up onto furniture too!

I’m good when I’m being handled, although I can be a bit wiggly because I’m so excited to be involved. I also enjoy being brushed, which is a nice calm moment I quite like. Toys are fun, especially squeaky ones, but I really enjoy them most when you’re involved too. I like sharing the excitement with my humans rather than playing on my own.
I can sit when asked, and I’m definitely clever enough to learn more if you’ve got time to teach me. I’m always up for a bit of fun and activity, and I’d really love a home that can keep up with my energy and enthusiasm. When it’s time to rest, I love nothing more than to tuck myself up under the blanket for the best afternoon naps.

I’ll be honest, I’ve come from a complicated background, so I might need a bit of guidance and reassurance as I settle in. But I’ve got a lot of love to give, and I really want someone who sees the happy, affectionate girl I am underneath it all.
My new home must have a secure garden with high fences (5ft minimum) for me to have fun and play in. I’d be happy to share my new home with smaller humans (8+) but adults must always be in charge of my lead when we go for walks. I can’t wait to meet someone who loves going for adventures as much as I do. As I do have a very high prey drive (I’m always on the look out for something small and fluffy) I will need to stay on the lead and wear a muzzle when in public places once in my new home. I’m happy to consider knowledgeable first time pawrents, any potential adopters must be happy with these stipulations.
If you’re looking for a lively, loving companion who will keep you smiling, moving and always involved… I think we could be a great match. 💛🐾
