Aren’t I just the cutest little thing that you ever did see? Well, the staff here think so anyway. Why I am here, you may ask? Well, I was originally bought from a breeder but after 3 days my new owners realised they had made a mistake and they didn’t feel they had enough time to train me. Puppies are hard work and we need alot of love, attention, guidance and training – not for the faint hearted!
I’m a happy little lady and I’ve been enjoying going home with one of the staff here at night time so I don’t have to stay in a kennel. I love playing with my foster doggy sister and although I can be a little cautious when meeting a new dog for the first time I’m quick to come around and want to play.
I enjoy toys, the crinkly ones are great. Squeakers in cuddly toys are pretty fun too. I enjoy a little walk but I also love nothing more than a good nap after I’ve been out exploring and making friends. My foster pawrents have been working on my crate training which is going really well.
As with all the dogs here at Gables I have been fully assessed and they discovered that I’m not happy sharing my high value food items. I’ll give a little growl to warn and this could get worse as I get older if it’s not managed properly and safely. This is the reason why I need to go to a home without young children. My new pawrents will need to have owned dogs before as I’m a but tricky for a first time owner.
I have been learning how to sit when I’m asked and I’m working on how to give paw. I’d love to attend puppy training classes once I have settled into my new home. I’m a lovely little lady and in the right home I know I’ll be able to thrive, we’ll have so much fun together.
