Hello! I’m Friary Mill… yes, just like the bakery. 🥖🐾

I can’t promise to bake you a loaf or decorate a cake, but I can promise to rise to the occasion if you’re looking for a loyal best friend!

I’m a lovely, gentle Greyhound with a sweet nature and a curious mind. I like to take life at my own pace, wandering around to see what’s going on and taking in all the little details. I enjoy a fuss too, although I’m not one to constantly ask for attention. Think of me as the quiet customer who pops into the bakery every morning… happy just being there with good company.

Life in a home will be completely new to me, so there are a few ingredients I’m still missing from my recipe. I’ll need someone patient to help me learn things like house rules, routines, being left alone and all the little bits that make family life so special. I promise I’ll do my very best.

I’m a polite boy when it comes to being handled and groomed, and I’m happy to share my food and treats. Toys don’t really mean much to me yet, although perhaps I just haven’t found the right one to get my taste buds tingling!

I do enjoy meeting other dogs, although I can sometimes get a little overexcited at first. Imagine someone who’s just spotted the last fresh pastry in the shop… I sometimes rush in with a little too much enthusiasm! Once introductions are over, though, I’m calm, friendly and enjoy spending time with canine companions.

Like many Greyhounds, I have a strong instinct to chase small furry animals, so I’ll need to stay on my lead and wear my muzzle when we’re out exploring together.

What I’m really searching for isn’t a bakery… it’s a place to finally belong. A cosy bed, kind people and someone who’ll help me discover just how wonderful home life can be.

You don’t have to be a Greyhound expert to fall in love with me. As long as you have done your homework and are ready for the adventure, I’d love to meet you. So, if you think your home has the perfect recipe for a happy ending, I’d love to meet you. I think we’d make a pretty delicious team. ❤️
