Yes – I like other dogs so would be happy to live with a calm dog and make friends.

Maybe – I have not lived with a cat before so will need to be tested

Yes - I am suitable to live with young children (5+).

I bet you can’t believe that such a handsome chap is in a rescue centre on the search for a forever home can you? I was originally found as a stray and after my original owner was located I was signed over to Gables for rehoming. Today is your lucky day if you are looking for a French Bulldog shaped hole in your heart to be filled. I am the perfect gentleman and I have so much love to offer.

I had my full behavioural assessment here and my assessor has said what a truly lovely boy I am. I’m super friendly when I meet new people and I love all cuddles and attention that you are willing to offer. As well as my gentle and calm side I do also have a playful side and I love a bit of rough and tumble. I really enjoy soft toys, especially if they have a squeak and I’ll quite often take them to my bed with me.

I’m a good boy most of the time for formal handling although ear cleaner can take a hike. I’m really not a fan of the cold liquid in my ears. I’m happy being picked up but you might be surprised by how much I weigh, I’m pretty sure you won’t be wanting to carry me very far! I’ve already learnt sit, lie and how to give my paw when I’m asked, I try really hard to be clean in my kennel so I think I might even be house trained.

My new family will need to have owned brachycephalic breeds before because I do have a couple of breed specific medical issues that you will need to understand. I love to go for a nice walk but these need to be kept short, although I can go on 2 or 3 a day, unless it’s hot in which case I need to be kept indoors and cool.

I’m more than happy to live with another dog, I have lived with one before, but I need a calm friend so I don’t get too puffed out trying to keep up. I’m a truly special boy and I really hope that you will apply to take me home.
