No - we are looking for a home with no cats, birds or small animals.

Hi, we’re Kit & Kaboodle 🐾

We’re a lovely little duo looking for a home together, and while we’re quite different, that’s what makes us such a perfect pair.

I’m Kit, the older one at 8 years old, and I’m the fun, wiggly, always-on-the-go half of the team. I absolutely love people and I’m full of energy and affection. I’ll greet you with a waggy body and a big smile, ready for fuss or a game. Toys are my favourite thing and I’m always up for some playtime. I already know how to sit, give both paws and lie down, and I’d love to learn even more with you.

And I’m Kaboodle, a 6 year old Chihuahua cross, and I’m the quieter, softer one. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but if you give me time and space, I’ll come around and show you just how affectionate I am. I really love cuddles, especially sitting on a lap where I feel safe. I prefer gentle, calm interactions and I can feel a bit worried if people lean over me too quickly, but I do try my best and I’m very good for my handling and grooming. Brushing is actually something I really enjoy.

Kit loves toys… I’m not quite sure about them yet, they seem a bit strange to me, but maybe you could help me learn. When it comes to food, we’re both polite. Kit might hang on a little tighter to her favourite treats, but I’m very easygoing and happy to share.

Out on walks, I (Kaboodle) walk nicely and like to take things calmly, while Kit brings a bit more bounce and excitement. Together, we balance each other out perfectly.

We’re looking for a home that can give us both what we need, fun and activity for Kit, and patience and reassurance for me. Most importantly, we want to stay together, as we really are the best of friends. Our new owners will need to have owned dogs before and give us plenty of time to settle in to our new life. The humans here don’t much much info about our lives before our arrival at Gables, therefore, they don’t know how we will feel about being left at home on our own. We would like to find someone who can support us at home for a while before we are left on our own for too long.
