Hello there, I’m Noodle. I came to Gables along with my son as our previous owners had to move house and were unable to find a rented home that would allow dogs. I’m a very handsome boy and I like to have a bit of a fuss made of me from people. I’ll be honest, I’m a bit of a lap dog and I’ll give you a nudge if you stop giving me tickles.

I also love a soft cuddly toy, my favourite is a cuddly carrot which I hope to have a lifetimes supply of in my new home. I’ve been known not to share my favourite toys with my son, and as we weren’t bringing out the best in each other which is why we are looking for separate new homes. I’m quite happy on my own, it just means I don’t have to share all my favourite things with anyone else!

I’ve recently had a couple of very big dental operations so I’m not too keen on having people look in my mouth, but I’m a good boy for formal handling in general. I can be picked up for a short time, while you lift me into a car for example, but I don’t like being held for long as I can get quite wiggly.

I find meeting new dogs a bit scary and I can become tense and unsure when I see them at a distance. I find other dogs my size less of a worry and I might even be able to share my home with another confident small dog, but we’d need to do lots of meets here first and it’s possible I still might say no. When I see dogs that are bigger than me I will bark and lunge because I’m scared. My new owners will need to have dealt with this behaviour before as with the right help and support I may be able to get more comfortable around other dogs, in time.

I can sit when I’m asked but I will only do this when I am on soft surfaces. I travel well in the car and I have been allowed on the furniture previously. I have also been house trained.
