Are you ready to fall in love with a senior cutie pie? Brace yourselves because I’m ready and waiting to knock your socks off with love.

Sadly, my previous owner was unable to continue to give me the care that I need, which is why I’m here and ready for a fresh start. I’m not looking my best at the moment, my hair is a little bit patchy in places, but this definitely doesn’t stop me having a good time. Grow old disgracefully is my motto. If you think at 11 years old I’ll be a doddery thing, then think again. I am full of energy and ready and raring to go on lots of exciting new adventures (just see the video linked below if you don’t believe me).
Whilst aloof when I meet someone new, I have already built very strong and lasting bonds with my immediate care givers. We have a lot of fun cuddling and playing together! I’ve been very lucky that, rather than being in a kennel, I get to live in the office of the Gables dog behaviour team, so I’m getting extra spoilt! Although they will be a bit sad to let me go, they can’t wait to see my thrive and flourish in a forever retirement home.

I’m quite active and I still get very excited to go for walks, all you have to do is show me my harness and I come to life with excitement for our next adventure together. I’ve met a few dogs since I’ve been here and I’m very happy to say hello. I’m actually very tolerant with dogs, even young annoying ones, so I would be more than happy to have another dog in my new home.
I’ve definitely got a cuddly side, I’ve been known to keep the lap warm of the staff when they have to do boring computer work (infact, I’m sat here now making sure they say all the nicest things about me). I’m cheeky, silly and not afraid to tell you when I want something, usually food related!
Do you think we could be a perfect match? Here’s a few more bits of info to help you decide.
✅I’m suitable for first time owners
✅I can be left for up to 3 hours
✅You don’t have a garden. If you do have a garden but it’s not secure, that’s ok as long as you agree to keep me on a long line and stay with me while I’m out. If you do have a secure garden (fencing at least 3 ft) then that’s fantastic, you can just open the door and let me have a mooch.
