Hello there! I’m so glad you’ve come to find out more about me. If you love a big dog then you’ll definitely love me. I’m a big softy really, a gentle giant who has loads of love (and slobber) to give. I really am a sweet chap who loves a scratch and plenty of affection. I’m always happy to meet new people but some might find me intimidating because of my size which is why it’s best for me to stay on the lead when we are out and about.
I don’t want to make people feel worried so I like carrying toys around with me which I think helps to show off my softer side and makes me look less scary. I enjoy playing tug with my toys but I’ll always let go if you have something else to offer me.
I love meeting other dogs and after a quick play bow and bonk on the head with my paw I’m happy to just hang out together. I enjoy going for walks and most of the time I’ll just plod along side you. Sometimes excitement gets the better of me and I’ll pull to go an investigate a great smell or another dog. I’m very strong when I do this so my new pawrents must be strong enough not to be pulled along behind me. I am scared of the dark and can become worried of people and other dogs if it’s dark outside but during the day when it is light outside I love to make new friends.
In my past life I wasn’t living in a conventional home environment so this could be all new to me. I will need basic training, including house training, but I do already know how to sit. My new owners will need to have owned extra large breeds before and be prepared to keep me on my lead in public spaces.
