Hello there.
My name is Noodle. I’m the very handsome black and tan chap you can see in the photo’s, and the gorgeous silver Dapple boy to my side is my favourite son, Udon. We have lived together for all of Udon’s whole life, and as a very young dad I can’t really remember a time where he wasn’t by my side. Our old owners had to move house and sadly they couldn’t find somewhere to live where dogs would be welcome, which is why we are here.
I’m a happy boy, I like meeting people and I’m comfortable around other dogs. Udon isn’t as confident as I am so he needs a little bit of time to get to know you before he will show his real character. We love to play fight with each other and in our previous home we enjoyed playing with cuddly toys, especially those ones that have a squeak inside.
We love going for walks and we are an active breed, although most people don’t realise this. We would prefer to walk somewhere without lots of other dogs because Udon can get easily overwhelmed causing him to bark. Then I bark too but half the time I’m not even sure what I’m barking at.
We would love to meet someone who has lots of knowledge about dachshunds because we know we aren’t the easiest of breeds with being prone to some medical conditions. We also do love to bark, which anyone who has owned one before will know. Our new pawrents will need to have experience with dog reactive dogs and be able to take us for walks in quiet places.
