If you know anything about Sphynx cats, you will know that we consider fur to be far too mainstream and we were born this way. Unlike our furry feline friends, we get to flaunt our excellent bone structure!  Anyway, enough of blowing the Sphynx trumpet, let’s get on with what type of home I am looking for.

Due to my unique needs and the care and dedication I need to remain healthy and happy, I am looking for an experienced Sphynx cat owner that have owned Sphynx cats themselves before. I am not suitable for first time owners or for someone that has not owned my breed before. Due to being hairless, it is so important that I have regular baths to keep my exposed skin clean and healthy. Don’t forget my ears and eyes too! I don’t have any eyelashes and yeast can accumulate in these areas. My furry friends’ fur usually absorbs yeast and other things that can cause infections. Keeping me nice and warm is essential, no draughts please as I feel the cold more. So nice cosy beds and the heating on when it is cold is all I ask for. Us hairless kitties are also very susceptible to sunburn, so please be mindful of my skin burning when I have found a nice toasty windowsill to fall asleep on.

I am a social and loving little cat and I am so enjoying all the fuss I am receiving here, it is like a 5 star hotel for felines! Although I have been told I am very cute, please don’t let this be the main reason for adopting me. I am looking for someone that is prepared to commit to me health wise and to spend a lot of time with me. We don’t cope well with being left for long periods of time, so if you are a very busy little bee always buzzing in and out, then we are not meant to be. I will be a loving and rewarding companion for the right person, not everyone is up for my social and maintenance demands but all the time and love you invest in me will be worth it, I promise.
